Introduction to the blog

Sep 6, 2017 | Posted by wolandadmin | Uncategorized |

The main purpose of this blog is to share ideas about change in the global economy. By change, I don’t mean just the usual volatility, but changes that are driven by and affect the underlying structure of the economy. Some entries will be just sharing and commenting on data, and others will be related to new ways to better understand discontinuous change. One current area of interest is how the forecasting techniques developed by Tetlock and Gardner can be applied to discontinuous economic change. Hope you enjoy. Feel free to comment, either in the comments section or by sending me a note through the contact form.
